Florida Consumer Attorney Bob Murphy named Attorney of the Year
Legal Aid Service of Broward County’s 9th Annual FOR THE PUBLIC GOOD Raises More than $120k for the Underprivileged
Consumer Fraud Lawyer Florida FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – Legal Aid Service of Broward County (LAS) hosted its 9th Annual FOR THE PUBLIC GOOD event at the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina on May 14th. A sold-out crowd of more than 300 guests attended this year’s event themed “You’ve Been Served.” Funds raised reached $124,000.
Proceeds from the event benefit children and families served by LAS including: abused children in foster care, the homeless, children in need of special education and families losing their homes to foreclosure.
This year’s Honorary Co-Chairs Bob and Kerry Kelley and John and Jennifer Uustal welcomed Bruce Rogow, Professor of Law Nova Southeastern University Law Center, as Master of Ceremonies and Guest Speaker, Jesse H. Diner, Esq., The Florida Bar President.

Belinda Keiser, Vice Chancellor Community Relations & Student Advancement, Keiser University, was presented with the prestigious Russell E.
