The Florida Bar Consumer Protection Committee recently honored Attorney Murphy with its “Consumer Attorney of the Year Award” at the Florida Bar Annual Convention in Orlando, Florida on June 18, 2016. The award recognized Mr. Murphy for his substantial work protecting Florida consumers from predatory business practices during his thirty-years of practice. Mr. Murphy was profoundly moved by the unexpected recognition of his peers and expressed his deep appreciation in a short speech at the Awards Ceremony.
